ACA news

Greetings to All & Happy

Greetings Members, Partners, Associates, and Friends!

I want to thank those who attended our monthly meeting last Friday! There is so much happening all over the city, so I appreciate the time given for participation! Also,

congratulations to Ms. Grace Givens as she has been named Director of Mary E. Rodman Recreation Center! She attended the ACA meeting and introduced herself, along with noting

Spring programming at the center! Please see the attached flyers of some of the events she mentioned, and please share in support of our rec center. Prior to the reopening of Mary E.,

the ACA has requested from BCRP a viable and sustainable programming schedule for the community residents to participate in, and we now have it. A programming meeting was hosted by BCRP

on December 2, 2025 and the community residents weighed in on what they wanted to see at their rec center. These programs are contingent upon the support they

receive from the community. As promised, I will do my level best to promote, support and consistently share these programming events for maximum participation! if you would view the

attached Charm TV video of the Mary E. Rodman Rec Center Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on Nov 21st 2025, you will hear my comments on programming being a very important request for the

community. https://charmtvbaltimore.com/video/mary-e-rodman-rec-center-ribbon-cutting-november-21-2025. Let’s come together to support these initiatives! More information/ on this coming soon!
