Please VOTE!! This is the freest democracy we have in this country and we should exercise our rights and freedom to VOTE!! If you are 18 yrs and older, VOTE, because your vote DOES COUNT!! Check to be sure of your voting precinct, location, etc. I have been told that those who have Mary E. Rodman Elementary School listed as their voting location for the June 23rd election, will vote at Mary E. Rodman Recreation Center. I will confirm this and send any updates via email, but be aware and ask pertinent questions for clarity. If anyone has clarified information about this, please let me know ASAP.

Looking forward to AFRAM 50 this weekend! Please enjoy and be safe as you travel to and from the event!

HAPPY “early” FATHER’S DAY to all the Amazing Dads! Enjoy your weekend with your families and continue doing the great work you’re doing with your Daddy roles!!

HAPPY JUNETEENTH as well!
Happy Juneteenth and hoping you are enjoying the start of your holiday weekend!

As mentioned in previous Exec Board meetings, our Bylaws need to be updated. Bernie drafted a nice structured Bylaws document (below) using AI and shared with me. I think this is a great start for us. We can tweak going forward and utilize Robert’s Rules of Order as needed.

How does Weds July 1st at 7pm via Zoom work for you? The sooner we start working on them, the better. In the meantime, feel free to make any suggestions or additions that can help us get through this process smoothly.

Due to the 4th of July holiday falling on July 3rd, our next Monthly Meeting will be held on Friday, July 10th, 6:30pm-8:30pm (hybrid) at Mary E. Rodman Rec Center. Invited guests will be finalized and shared with you.

Our next Produce Giveaway will be on Saturday, June 27th, same time and location.
